Thomas now singing National Anthem

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 – Keni Thomas will now sing the National Anthem tonight, Oct. 28, at the opening game of the 40th World Series at Yankee Stadium. Thomas was previously scheduled to sing God Bless America.

Upon arrival in New York this morning, Thomas was asked to sing the anthem instead. The New York Yankees play the Philadelphia Phillies in the best-of-seven opener starting at 7:57 p.m. Eastern.
