Bundy tops list of new CDs

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 – A Broadway actress leads the short list of new releases today.

Laura Bell Bundy originated the role of Elle Woods in the Great White Way show "Legally Blonde." Bundy is out with her first country disc, "Achin' and Shakin'." The disc contains two different sides of Bundy - slow heartache songs and faster ones. Giddy On Up is the first single.

Carrie Rodriguez continues her solo career after spending a chunk of time with Chip Taylor. "Love And Circumstance" is on a new label, Ninth Street Opus.

Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road release the bluegrass disc, "Caroline Hurricane," on Rural Rhythm.
