Sony BMG names new head

Thursday, April 15, 2010 – SonyBMG Nashville has a new head. EMI Music Publishing/Nashville Exec. Vice President/General Manager Gary Overton will be the new head of Sony/Nashville, replacing Chairman Joe Galante, who announced his departure Wednesday.

"It's difficult to leave EMI Music Publishing after so many years, and to say goodbye to my staff and the writers who I care so deeply about," Overton said.
