Travelin' McCourys bring Ball to midwest

Thursday, October 3, 2013 – The Travelin' McCourys are announced its next round of The Bluegrass Ball touring festival for the Midwest in November.

The Bluegrass Ball had its inaugural event just over 2 years ago in the midwest. The fest will be held Nov. 15 in Madison Wisc., Nov. 16 in Bloomington, Ind. And Nov. 17 in Chicago.

For all three shows, Bill Nershi of String Cheese Incident will join The Travelin' McCourys on guitar, and each city will be joined by regional pickers.

The Bluegrass Ball was born out of the spirit of bluegrass festivals - impromptu jams and unscheduled collaborations.
