En route to Alberta

Remember that song by Rebecca Lynn Howard? "Tennessee in My Windshield (Kentucky in My Rearview Mirror)?

Well, Paul Brandt, who once was a rising country star in the United States, is singing about leaving northern Montana for his home province of Alberta.

This song wasn't released in the states, but I wish it was. Brandt should have made it much bigger here, but he got lost in the shuffle that was mid to late 1990's hat acts.

I always knew he was from Canada, a country rich in country music heritage, but it's great to see him pay homage to his beautiful province, which I hope to visit someday soon.
