Auburn Tiger fans and single male country fans, got some bad news for y'all. Sara Evans is engaged to Jay Barker, the former Alabama quarterback. It didn't take long for country's most eligible bachelorette to decide to tie the knot again. I find it ironic that Evans got divorced, given some 'holier than thou' comments she made regarding divorce in the 2005 book "Rednecks and Bluenecks, the Politics of Country Music."

I haven't listened to the radio in a dog's age, but I just turned it on today and have been listening to it again. I like hearing new music, it seems like it's been a while since that happened. And how many CDs can you listen to over and over again? I heard a new song by Trace Adkins - "You're Going to Miss This."

The local radio station, KATM-FM out of Modesto, CA, has a segment called "Cryin, Laughin, Lovin or Leavin", what a cool name for a radio show. The radio has always been a friend to me, and I love hearin' the old songs along with the new ones. I used to listen to Internet radio and wish that Carolina Country Radio would come back. As Alan Jackson sang, "Thank God For The Radio."
