Joshin' Around

Mike Sudhalter  |  April 16, 2008

Two Joshes - Turner and Gracin - are two of the top new artists in country music. Turner is a great traditionalist, and I love to hear him cover the old songs, whether it's George Jones' "One Woman Man" and "He Stopped Loving Her Today, Merle Haggard's "Silver Wings" or Hank Williams' "I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive."

Gracin is one of the top contemporary country singers, but I think it's funny that his debut album had a song called "I Wanna Live" and the follow-up has a tune called "I Don't Want To Live" - also done by Chris Cagle, but Gracin's version is better. He wants to live, he doesn't. Make up your mind, Josh.
