Texas-bound

I haven't updated the blog recently because I've been busy, getting ready to move to the Houston, Texas area. Therefore, the Country Mike blog will be a Texas-based blog by next week.

I'm very excited about it, if nothing else, because sports, country and Red Dirt Music are huge in the Lone Star State.

And it'll be my first time living in a major metropolitan area since I left Boston in 2000.

There will be lots of opportunities to see some great country music concerts and watch some excellent sporting events, at all levels.

If you're from the Houston area, or anywhere else in the state, please let me know of any country music venues, restaurants you'd recommend or just any other tips for moving to Houston.
