New music

I like to buy music from itunes, then burn it on to a blank CD. It's always such a thrill to listen to that music on an album for the first time. You may have heard it online or on your computer, but there's nothing else driving with the stereo up on the open road.
I've been so busy with work here in Houston that I haven't had much time to post anything on the blog. Houston is a great city, and it's great being so close to both the countryside and the downtown of America's fourth largest city.
The Eli Young Band has a CD release party next Tuesday at Big Texas Dancehall and Saloon in Spring, Texas. The cover gets you the band's new album and a live show.
I haven't had much time for concerts, but it seems like there are some great shows in the area. Getting introduced to Texas Country reminds me of 12 years ago when I started listening to pop-country.
With each song on the radio, it was so much more exciting.
How about Brad Paisley? He earned a No. 1 hit with a song that he pulled off a previous album - "Waitin On A Woman" - to release as a single.
I recently got the new Roger Creager album, "Here It Is", and I look forward to listening to it. I'll fill y'all in later.
