They Love Their Country (Music)
Mike Sudhalter | January 13, 2009
I was reading Country Weekly magazine, and they have a feature each week "I Love My Country" with celebrities - and I use that word loosely - to talk about why they love country music, and their five favorite songs.
Two issues ago, it was a certain plumber - Joe The Plumber. What's interesting that our musical tastes are very close. The Ohioan is a big Hank Williams Sr. fan - enjoying his country songs and his gospel as Luke The Drifter. His favorite Hank Sr. songs according to the magazine are "I Saw The Light" and "Jambalaya." He also enjoys modern day traditionalists Aaron Tippin and Brad Paisley.
Then, this week, there's Ted McGinley, who y'all probably know better as Jefferson from the sitcom "Married With Children." Bet you didn't know he liked Alan Jackson, George Strait and Blake Shelton?
I'd like to get some people on here to talk about their favorite country songs. You don't even have to be a celebrity, and you can list your favorite 10, and your least favorite three....it will be more in-depth than the CW stuff. But we need your participation to make it work
