Out Last Night still not out
Mike Sudhalter | May 21, 2009
I knew this was bound to happen when two music trends collided: Artists releasing new songs on greatest hits packages; and music being sold by the song on itunes.
That could be the only possible explanation as to why Kenny Chesney's new song, "Out Last Night", is not available as a song - only as a video.
Maybe eventually the album would go on itunes, but for now, we have to go out and buy the entire album. Most Chesney fans probably already have most of the songs in their library, so why drop $12 for one song.
At least, they could have teased us by putting the album on itunes and letting us know that we only get the song if we purchase the entire album.
That would have been a more honest form of arrogance.
