Perfect Strangers

Mike Sudhalter  |  June 22, 2009

No, I'm not talking about the sitcom set in Chicago with Balky and that other guy.

The band, "Perfect Stranger," founded 23 years ago in Texas, had a few minor hits during the 1990's like "You Have The Right To Remain Silent" and "Ridin' The Rodeo."

Now, the Strangers are back and ironically, all of them except for guitarist Shayne Morrison, are strangers.

The new Perfect Stranger sounds like a Keith Urban cover band.

I really don't like it when bands try to promote themselves under the same name when all of the members, save for one or two, are different. It's one thing if the vocalist is the same. But that isn't the case with this group.

I'm pretty sure that these guys will be Strangers to country radio, too.
