Three Months to Nashville

Ever since I began listening to country music in the spring of 1996, I've been wanting to take a trip to Nashville, TN, particularly Fan Fair - now, the CMA Music Festival.

Last week, I booked my trip to the festival and started counting the days until the big trip. The more I listened to country music, the deeper appreciation I had for the roots of the genre. That's why I hope to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry when I'm in town.

I've heard mixed things about the four-day event, but I'm going with the highest of expectations. I'm also going two days earlier and staying a day later so I can experience the aforementioned attractions among others.

CMA Music Festival means different things to different fans. Meeting their favorite artists, seeing the concerts at the Tennessee Titans' stadium or discovering independent label artists. I'm hoping to enjoy all three and make the most of the experience.
