Josh Turner's album drops

Mike Sudhalter  |  February 9, 2010

Would You Go With Me....on a road trip, if you
had to listen to Josh Turner albums the entire time?

It's great see that one of the most talented new artists in Nashville, Josh Turner released a new album today. OK, I guess he's not so new since this is his fourth studio album.

But I definitely think that "Why Don't We Just Dance" ranks up there with some of his top songs. Luckily, I was able to get the deluxe version, which includes live versions of "Your Man" and "Long Black Train" and "Let's Find A Church," a tune that never made the final cut on Turner's 2003 debut, "Long Black Train."

It's true that some of the songs sound the same, but Turner has such a unique voice that it's a pleasure to listen to his music.

He'll never be the most popular artist in Nashville, because he's too country. But I hope his fans support his music enough that we'll have him on the scene for many years to come.
