CMT Music Awards -- Less Than 24 Hours Away

Carrie Underwood is one of many A-List country
artists who will perform at the CMT Music Awards
on Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena
in Nashville.

For the third time in five years, I will be making the trip to Nashville for the CMA Music Festival, but I'd never been to the CMT Music Awards.

The CMT Music Awards will be hosted by none other than Kid Rock, and according to the Washington Post, it will feature a Thelma & Louise-type opening skit featuring Taylor Swift and Shania Twain. How do you follow up something like that?

With a great awards show - where the fans decide the winners.

I'd like to see Kenny Chesney's "Boys of Fall" win that Video of the Year, and Zac Brown Band/Alan Jackson take home "Margaritaville", and Sugarland's "Stuck Like Glue" for Duo Video.

Whoever wins, it should be a very exciting night of entertainment.
