This is literally what most of Country Mike's week looked like

OK, so it was one of those weeks where country music had to take a back seat in my world.

The good news? I'm already looking forward to Memory Lane Monday and Traditional Tuesdays.

Memory Lane Monday will focus on a couple of my favorites, Darryl Worley and Paul Overstreet.

It's hard to believe that a 90's radio hitmaker could qualify as a traditional artist, but Joe Diffie certainly fits the bill. He released a bluegrass album last year, and it will be the focus of next week's Traditional Tuesdays.

If you have any ideas for What's New? Wednesday or Texas Thursday, let me know. Otherwise, we'll find something to fire up on the grill that is endless country music.
