Next To You, Next To Me revisited

Mike Sudhalter  |  April 18, 2012

Ok, so "Next To You, Next To Me" is one of my favorite country songs of all time.

And it seems like the song is getting quite a resurgence. Not only did Rascal Flatts record it as a bonus track on their new album, titled "Banjo", but Marty Raybon of Shenandoah cut a bluegrass version of the tune that already has a lot of bluegrass in it on his new solo bluegrass album, "Southern Roots and Branches."

But y'all have heard the Flatts and Marty Raybon.

I was really impressed with Modern Day Dorothy's version of the song on YouTube.

I'd like to thank all of them for keeping it country, and it's nice to see Rascal Flatts reach closer to their country roots. We knew you'd be back.
