Trent Tomlinson

Trent Tomlinson has a great new song called "Just Might Have Her Radio On". I enjoy the song because it combines traditional country with contemporary, and it starts off slow but has a rockin' part of it, too.
The theme is very country-oriented. A heartbroken guy trying calling a radio station to play a request for his girlfriend before she goes too far that she can't get the signal anymore. A desperate guy depending on a disc jockey to save his relationship.
I hope Tomlinson's here to stay, because the Missouri native has some great talent. He can rock and party out with songs like "Drunker Than Me" and "Country is My Rock" and then show his serious side with others like "One Wing In The Fire".
He also has the look of a bad boy rocker. Hearing the poignant "One Wing In The Fire" surprised me because I thought "Drunker" fit Tomlinson's outlaw image.
With acts like TT, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Jack Ingram and others, maybe the outlaw movement can pick up some steam again.
