Kudos to Taylor Swift for Country Music Hall of Fame donation
Mike Sudhalter | May 23, 2012
Taylor Swift cares about Country Music and its future. Often times, she gets criticized for straying too far from what would be considered Country Music. She's drawn new fans into the genre and build a bridge for them to listen to artists they may not have heard otherwise.
Swift donated $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame for its Children's Education Center.
Depending on where you live, country music isn't always the most popular among youth. Hopefully, the Museum can create programs on-site and through outreach extension programs to educate people about Country Music, which is part of the fabric of American History.
Swift wants to be involved in the project as an advisor, and she'll continue to bring millions of fans into a genre that she helped popularize in recent years.
Here's some more details on the project
Kudos to Ms. Swift for caring about the future of Country Music.
