Jason Michael Carroll will be one of the hundreds of country music artists who will appear at CMA Festival this week in Nashville

CMA Music Festival, which is like the Super Bowl, World Series, Mardi Gras, Christmas, Hanukkah and your birthday all rolled into one (if you're a country music fan), is just three days away.

I'd never been to Nashville during any other time but the festival, so I couldn't describe it without the festival.

But the city is just electric with it.

Steven Deyo, a country singer from Katy, Texas, and I will be making the trip from Texas to Nashville and updating our chronicles on the Country Mike blog. We'll be attending concerts, special events, parties and more.
