Jana Kramer and Alan Jackson - a Super Tuesday
Mike Sudhalter | June 5, 2012
Whoever decided to release their artists' albums on the Tuesday before CMA Festival is a marketing genius. Fans are in a great mood to listen (and buy) music.
And what great music, it is. Today, we have a debut album from Jana Kramer.
Kramer, a 28-year-old actress on the television show, "One Tree Hill," has one heck of a voice for country music, and she brings a unique spin to it on songs like "Goodbye California."
"Whiskey" and "Why Ya Wanna" also capture the energy that Kramer brings to country music.
And legendary country singer, Alan Jackson released a new album today, "Thirty Miles West."
He once again collaborates with Zac Brown on "Dixie Highway," but it's songs like "Gonna Come Back As a Country Song" and the deeply personal "When I Saw You Leavin' (For Nisey)" make the album one of Jackson's best in years.
