Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill is coming to Houston, Texas

Would you stand outside the West Oaks Mall in Houston until Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill opens.

I've never been to one, but like most celebrity-centered places, I'm not looking forward to the cuisine or drinks, but rather the concerts.

They put a location in Foxboro, Mass. (after I moved out of the area, no less), and I always hear about concerts there.

The million dollar question in Texas will be whether Nashville artists play Toby Keith's, or Texas artists.

I hope at least some Nashville artists play it. Due to the success of our strong Lone Star country music scene - which I love undoubtedly, we get the short end of the stick when it comes to Nashville artists and tours, especially the middle-of-the-pack and up-and-coming artists.

And I get it. It makes more sense for club owners to go with the sure sellouts of Texas artists. But hopefully, the Big Dog Daddy will provide more opportunities for Nashville artists, in the Lone Star State.
