Happy New Year, Country Music fans!

We're looking forward to another year of great country music. It started at the end of December when I re-organized my music collection to different categories - pre-2000 Country, post-2000 country, Texas/Alternative country, traditional country, live albums and non-country albums.

It was very relaxing and gave me an opportunity to re-connect with the music collection I'd assembled over the years.

During a trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas, I picked up a Suzy Bogguss CD of legendary folk tunes, while at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in nearby Arkadelphia, Ark.

The entire trip was gorgeous and being on the road for five days literally felt like a month. Nature, history, recreation, great food and an excellent travel partner.
