Jessica Phillips  |  August 10, 2009

Okie Carrie Underwood will be living on Tulsa time in September, when she will be honored during the 13th Annual Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame as one of its newest members. She will be inducted on September 17th as part of the ceremony. She will also perform at the event.

The Music Hall of Fame is filled with other country music greats, like Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Merle Haggard, Wanda Jackson and Hank Thompson.

"All three of this year's inductees are worthy recipients of this honor. Each is recognized world wide for their musical talent, and we are proud that each calls Oklahoma home," said Max Boydstun, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Board Chair.
