Neal McCoy, Linda Davis inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame
Jessica Phillips | August 20, 2009

While her daughter (and Lady Antebellum singer) Hillary Scott is enjoying her first Number One song, mom Linda Davis is celebrating, too.
Davis joins Neal McCoy and Michael Martin Murphey as one of the newest inductees into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Each was inducted during a ceremony in Carthage, TX on August 15th.
The organization recognizes Texans (both living and deceased) who have had success in the country music industry. The 2009 inductees join the ranks of Buck Owens, Willie Nelson, and Tanya Tucker.
