Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Del McCoury Band Make In-Store Appearances

Jessica Phillips  |  October 29, 2009

It's not hard to spot country stars here in Nashville. You see them shopping at Target or in line at the movies. You see them hanging with their families at local restaurants. Rarely do they bring attention to themselves when they are out and about-until now. The Middle Tennesse area is gearing up for several in-store appearances from a few of country and bluegrass' hottest stars.

The Verizon Wireless store on Mallory Lane in Franklin, TN is abuzz with Keith Urban's appearance that is scheduled for 2:00pm on Friday, October 30th. The Aussie is doing a free in-store acoustic performance. Urban partnered with Verizon Wireless for his "Escape The World Together" tour.

Alan Jackson will be signing copies of the Alan Jackson Collection at one of my favorite restaurants, the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Mt. Juliet, TN on November 2nd. Alan and Cracker Barrel are as country as country gets, and you can get your biscuits along with some signed merchandise beginning at 6:00am that morning. Add some coffee, and that's a good start to the day.

Bluegrass lovers in the Middle Tennessee area are getting their treat, too. The Del McCoury Band will be at Best Buy in Rivergate tonight (October 29th) for an in-store performance. The performance begins at 7:00pm, and celebrates the release of the band's new album, Family Circle.

Between these three events, I'd say I've gotten my Halloween treats already.
