The proceeds from this album's sales benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the largest children's cancer research center in the country, and in addition to the outstanding cause, the album's full of great music. Most tracks are Christmas songs, and nearly all were previously released, but wonderful songs like Travis Tritt's "Loving Time of the Year," John Berry's stunning version of "The Christmas Song," and Sammy Kershaw's Cajun-flavored "Christmas Time's a Comin'" still sound as good now. Bob Carlisle's smash hit of last summer, "Butterfly Kisses," and Alabama's "Angels Among Us" are also included, but the song best capturing the spirit of the cause is Mindy McCready's "Let's Talk About Love." When she sings about "a little boy in a private room who's living way beyond his fears," she's singing about every one of the nearly 15,000 children who have been treated by St. Jude's.
