Warner signs Johnson

Wednesday, June 20, 2018 – Texas country singer Cody Johnson has signed a deal with Warner Nashville.

The Sebastapol, Texas native veers towards the more traditional side. He released his most recent album, "Gotta Be Me" in 2016, with the disc debuting in second on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Johnson has toured extensively. He became the first independent artist to sell out the Houston Rodeo at NRG stadium earlier this year at nearly 75,000 tickets.

Johnson will release music through CoJo Music / Warner Music Nashville. He has released all six of his albums, starting with his debut in 2006, on CoJo.
