Walker McGuire are "Growin' Up"

Monday, October 15, 2018 – Walker McGuire are out with a new single, "Growin' Up," at country radio today.

The song from Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire "is special because it has both an old and new school feel to the song. The mix of the newer pop country sound and old school country message made it seem like the perfect song to single next," McGuire said.

"There was also an immediate reaction from our fans when we started playing the song in our live set, which as an artist, is one of the most inspiring moments you can ask for," said Walker.

Produced Mickey Jack Cones (Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols), they released their self-titled debut EP in January. The song is out on Stoney Creek.

In fact, they were downright dark. How else to explain "The Long Way" with the line "long way home back to you." Or "James," a song inspired by his grandfather who suffered from dementia. But lest you think that the Alabama... »»»
