Paslay joins fatherhood

Thursday, December 13, 2018 – Eric Paslay became a dad.

He announced, "She's here!!! Can't even handle how much we love our little girl, Piper Lily!!!"

Paslay and his wife, Natalie became parents of Piper Lily Paslay at 9:37 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, measuring 19 inches long and weighing in at 7 lbs., 2 oz.

Paslay, 35, released his debut with EMI Nashville in 2014 and an EP last year. He left the label in September. He has hit singles with "Friday Night," "Song About a Girl" and "She Don't Love You."

You may not have known the name Eric Paslay prior to his debut disc, but chances are you've heard his songs in the past few years. The red-headed Texan has enjoyed hit songs he helped pen including Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," Eli Young Band's "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" and Love and Theft's "Angel Eyes," all of which number one on the country charts.
