Tucker signs with Fantasy
Monday, May 6, 2019 – Tanya Tucker has signed with Fantasy Records, the label announced today.
Tucker is set to release her brand-new album in late summer 2019. Produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, "While I'm Livin'" will mark Tucker's first release of all new material since 2002's "Tanya."
"Tanya Tucker is an original outlaw who bucked the country music establishment and became a living legend in the process, which makes Fantasy her perfect home," said Fantasy Records president, Margi Cheske. "We're thrilled to work with Tanya, Brandi and Shooter and help bring this stunning new album to the world."
Born in Seminole, Texas, Tucker had her first country hit in 1972 with "Delta Dawn" when she was just 13 years old. Tucker has enjoyed 23 Top 40 country albums and 56 Top 40 country singles, 10 of which reached number one.

CD reviews for Tanya Tucker
Tanya Tucker once again employed Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings to produce this album, and her producers also had a hand in writing some of its 10 songs. It's still a little ...
It feels a little strange evaluating a live Tanya Tucker album now, as she's an aging country singer that had her first hit with "Delta Dawn" way back in 1972 at the tender age of 13. Tucker knows how to get into a song and make it her own, and she demonstrates her ability to turn phrases on this set of songs. Every song is a gem, and every song might be describing some aspect of her own life. Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings produced the album, and Jennings played piano almost every ...
