Young, Alaina collab gets released

Friday, July 12, 2019 – Chris Young and Lauren Alaina released their collaboration, "Town Ain't Big Enough," to digital and streaming services today.

Young wrote the anthem with Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Shay Mooney, who also contributes background vocals on the track.

The lyrics include the lines:
This town ain't big enough
Your friends and mine run into each other all the time
Seems like there ain't no place to run
This town ain't big enough for both of us

Young also released "Drowning" and title track "Raised On Country" in advance of the release of his eighth album.

But that doesn't mean that Young is doing anything all that different from what's au courant. Young's go to has always been his full-sounding, big-bodied voice, and that remains intact here throughout these 11 songs, 9 of which he had a hand in writing.
