Underwood hosts CMAs with Reba, Dolly aboard

Monday, August 19, 2019 – Carrie Underwood will host The 53rd Annual CMA Awards" with special guest hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, celebrating legendary women in Country Music throughout the ceremony.

That means the co-hosting of Underwood and Brad Paisley is over after 11 years.

The awards show airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8 a.m. eastern on ABC.

"It's an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year," says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. "In addition to awarding the year's best and brightest in the genre, 'The 53rd Annual CMA Awards' will celebrate the legacy of women within Country Music, and we couldn't think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show."

McEntire also tweeted: "Can't wait to join @carrieunderwood and @DollyParton at this year's #CMAawards!!!"

Final nominees will be announced Wednesday, Aug. 28 live during ABC's "Good Morning America" from its Times Square studio in New York.

Paisley was graceful in his comments on Twitter. "As a fan of all 3 of these amazing women, I can't wait to watch," he tweeted.
