Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow featured on Clapton guitar fest release

Tuesday, November 13, 2007 – Vince Gill, Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow will be featured on a DVD coming out later this month of Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival held in Chicago earlier this year.

Rhino Entertainment will release the "Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007 From Chicago" two-DVD set on Nov. 20.

Clapton invited old friends and new for the festival. The all-star cast featured Steve Winwood, B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, John Mayer, Doyle Bramhall II, and others.

Gill offers "Sweet Thing" and then guests with Albert Lee on "Country Boy." Cros, Gill and Lee play on Crow's huge hit "If It Makes You Happy" before Gill, Lee and Clapton play with Crow on "Tulsa Time." Nelson leads "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" with help from Gill and Lee with Crow coming aboard with the other two for "On the Road Again."

CD review - These Days To put this release into perspective, it would take Axl Rose the better half of a century to issue the same amount of material. Fortunately, Vince Gill is about as prolific as they come these days, and this daring four-disc release only is further proof of that. Each disc is divvied up depending on his mood, with the opening "Working On A Big Chill" album being "The Rockin' Record."
