Sony signs Hendricks

Monday, July 20, 2020 – Sony Music Nashville signed singer-songwriter Joey Hendricks today. The Washington state native will release his debut track, "Yours or Mine," on Friday.

"All I've ever wanted to do was make music," Hendricks said. "I'm so grateful that Sony saw something in me and that I get to continue living out this crazy dream with such a great team around me."

After moving to Nashville from his hometown, Anacortes, Wash., in 2017, Hendricks worked as a songwriter. He signed a publishing deal with Parallel Entertainment, whose head, Tim Hunze, encouraged him to make the leap into solo artistry by cutting a few of his own songs. Neil Young and John Mayer are influences.
