Teira releases her debut

Friday, March 12, 2021 – Black country artist Tiera, who has been getting buzz over the past year for her R&B-based brand of country, debuted with an independently-released five-song self-titled EP today.

Tiera, produced by Cameron Bedell, included two new songs, "Not Your Girl" and "Laid Back," to the three previously released.

"When I put out 'Found It In You,' I hadn't planned to release a full EP, but as my fans grasped onto the single, I decided to release this whole collection of songs," said Tiera. "It was really important for me to release my first full project independently because I wanted to make my stamp on country music in my own way. This is my way of introducing everyone to who I am as an artist. I wrote all of the songs with my friends and favorite collaborators; it is 100 percent true to me, and I hope people have just as much fun listening to these songs as we did writing them."

The track list is:
1. "Found It In You" (Tiera, Cameron Bedell)
2. "Not Your Girl" (Tiera, Cameron Bedell, Jack Newsome)
3. "Laid Back" (Tiera, Mike Robinson, Rocky Block, Sarah Troy)
4. "Miles" featuring BRELAND (Tiera, Cameron Bedell, Daniel Breland, Jared Scott)
5. "Shut It Down" (Tiera, Cameron Bedell, Jared Scott, Neil Medley)

After discovering her voice at a young age, the Alabama native taught herself how to play the guitar by watching YouTube videos and decided to pursue a career in music. Tiera performed at venues around her hometown of Birmingham where she honed her songwriting abilities. Trips to Nashville led to performances at venues like the Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room.

Over the last calendar year, Tiera signed her first publishing deal with Songs & Daughters as the flagship songwriter for Nicolle Galyon's female-driven publishing house. She was inducted into CMT's 'Next Women of Country' and 'Listen Up' Class of 2020.

New music will continue to be released throughout 2021
