Tanya Tucker tours with The Imperials

Thursday, November 29, 2007 – Tanya Tucker will perform with Grammy award winning gospel/contemporary Christian music group and backup vocal group for Elvis Presley, The Imperials, doing four shows in December.

"What a way to spend the Christmas season," said Tucker. "Singing Holiday songs with Elvis Presley's backup vocal group...I wish we could do this every year!"

Joe Guercio, Elvis Presley's former orchestra leader, is producing the show and will conduct Tucker's band.

The Tanya Tucker Family Christmas tour will also include her two daughters and her niece. "What's Christmas without your family? I couldn't think of a better way to do this tour than to involve my family," Tucker said. The "Tanya Tucker Family Christmas" will consist of shows Dec. 12 in Kansas City, Dec. 14 in Miami, Okla., Dec. 15 in Vinton, La. and Dec. 21 in Nashville.
