Rice offers "The Album"

Tuesday, May 18, 2021 – Chase Rice will offer "The Album" on May 28 on Broken Bow.

Rice first surprised fans with "The Album Part I" in January 2020, releasing seven songs (including the Platinum-certified Top 10 hit "Lonely If You Are"). "The Album Part II" brought four additional songs.

"The Nights," which sees Rice acknowledge the difficulty of moving on, toggling between singing and speaking; "Bedroom," a mid-tempo ode to romance; and "If I Didn't Have You," a reflective track that recognizes the way our loved ones push us to be the best versions of ourselves are the three new songs.

Inspiration comes in many forms. Chase Rice found it through an existential crisis. As an integral part of the bro country movement, his catalog has plenty of beer, trucks and pretty girls to go around. After having stratospheric success with a co-write on the massive Florida Georgia hit "Cruise," he found that he had some things to say outside of the gloss and cliche of bro country. Enter his late father's love, who is on the cover as a tribute, a loyal canine companion and a bevy ...
CD review - The Album If you think you Chase Rice's "The Album" sounds familiar, that's because it was released earlier as two EPs. Aptly titled "The Album Part 1 and Part 2," he marries those 11 songs with three new songs and a collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. He showcases his songwriting skills with credits on nine tracks. The sum total feels like it was borne from the contemporary country playbook. Young love is in the air on unsubtly titled numbers like" Bedroom" ...
CD review - The Album Part II Chase Rice has embraced Nashville's new business model of releasing music more frequently. Rice's EP "The Album Part II" will combine with the surprise seven-song January release of "Part I." Rice said, "The Album Part II only has four songs, so it's really easy for people to go check out all four songs. They're all very different." The issue with incrementally releasing music, especially in the EP format, is a lack of cohesion. ...
