– George Strait will return to Las Vegas, hitting the T-Mobile Arena stage for back-to-back "Strait to Vegas" shows on Aug. 13-14 with previously announced special guest Caitlyn Smith.
The shows had been originally slated for Aug. 28-29, 2020, but were postponed due to COVID-19.
"The Ace in the Hole Band and I have been looking forward to this day for a year and a half," said Strait. "I cannot wait to see Vegas and all of my great fans once again. It's been way too long. We will finally ride again. See you soon."
Tickets to the original 2020 dates will be honored for the rescheduled shows: Aug. 28, 2020 tickets will apply to the Aug. 13, 2021, while Aug. 29, 2020 tickets will apply to the Aug. 14 show. Those unable to attend the rescheduled shows are eligible for a refund at the original point of purchase for the next 30 days.
Additional tickets are on sale now.
Strait will also take the stage at Minneapolis' U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 13 with special guests Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town.
Since his Cowboy Rides Away Tour in 2014, Strait has performed for limited engagements, including three sold-out performances in 2020, first with "Visit Wichita Presents Strait to Oz" at INTRUST Bank Arena, then back-to-back nights of "Strait to the Heartland" at Kansas City's Sprint Center.
