Nefesh Mountain's latest is for the birds; Morgan debuts
Friday, June 11, 2021 – "Songs For The Sparrows," the new album from bluegrass/Americana band Nefesh Mountain on Eden Sky Records, is out today. The album is the follow-up to their previous releases, "Beneath the Open Sky" (2018) and "Nefesh Mountain" (2016). Recorded at Nashville's Sound Emporium, "Songs For The Sparrows" was produced by band founders, husband-and-wife team, Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff. Nefesh Mountain incorporates Jewish themes into the music with Zasloff sometimes singing in Hebrew. Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton and SamBush help out along with Celtic phenoms John Doyle (guitar/bouzouki) and Mike McGoldrick (whistles).
Kylie Morgan makes her EMI Nashville debut with "Love, Kylie." Morgan wrote all six songs on the EP, which was produced by Shane McAnally and Ben Johnson.
