Dasher announces EP

Wednesday, June 23, 2021 – Hannah Dasher will release a five-song EP, "The Half Record," on July 9.

The project includes Dasher's latest track "Left Right," and the single "Girls Call The Shots." Three additional songs, "Shoes," "You're Gonna Love Me" and "Leave This Bar" fill out the release.

Dasher, a Savannah, Ga. native, was a 2021 CMT Next Women of Country artist.

The track list is:
1. "Leave This Bar" (Hannah Dasher/ Brandon Hood/ Tim Nichols)
2. "Left Right" (Hannah Dasher / Wynn Varble / Brandon Hood)
3. "You're Gonna Love Me" (Andy Albert / Thomas Archer / Hannah Dasher / Gordie Sampson)
4. "Shoes" (Hannah Dasher/Trannie Anderson/Jake Rose)
5. "Girls Call The Shots" (Brad Warren, Brett Warren, David Frasier, Lance Miller)

Musical influences include Alan Jackson, Hank Williams, Jr., Tom Petty, Eric Church, and Aretha Franklin. After graduating from University of Georgia in 2008, Dasher moved into a small attic apartment just off Music Row in Nashville. She worked selling fishing boats and outboard motors at Bass Pro Shops. Dasher was later fired from Bass Pro for writing songs on the job. Soon after, she landed her first publishing deal, and her first cut, Brad Paisley's "Go To Bed Early," was from an idea she'd been working on during her last days employed at Bass Pro. Dasher also worked as assistant director of admissions since 2011 at the Art Institute of Tennessee.
