King is on a "Record High"
King also released a video for the song. Written by Rodney Clawson, John Pierce and Drake Milligan, the track was produced by Bart Butler and Ryan Gore.
Directed by Sam Siske, the video was shot at Cahoots Dancehall & Honkytonk in Lebanon, Tenn., a touring stop for King. He sold out his last visit to the eclectic honkytonk in February 2020, his first sell-out outside of Texas, and will return later this month on July 23 for a headlining show.
The Texas native wrapped up this past year with the release of his major-label debut EP, "Leanna." Named after his late sister who passed in 2020, the four-song EP reflects on King's personal struggles of early life between depression and OCD, as well as the obstacles he faced after the unexpected loss of his sister. Leanna follows five standalone track releases, including "Hey Cowgirl" and "She Gone." King also released a self-titled full-length CD in 2018 and an EP, "Another Bullet" in 2016.
