It's a boy for the Cash family

He was born in Miami at 9:13 a.m. eastern on Friday. At birth, he was 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 19-1/2 inches.

"My husband John Carter and I are so happy to welcome our baby boy, James Kristoffer Cash into the world today," said Ana Cristina Cash. "We are absolutely smitten with him and forever grateful."

John Carter Cash is a record producer and son of June and Johnny Cash.

The new baby is the couple's second child together. Their daughter, 3-1/2-year-old Grace June Cash, was born in 2017. The couple has been together for seven years and married since October 2016.

James Kristoffer is also brother to three of John Carter's children from two previous marriages: 15-year-old Jack Ezra Cash, 20-year-old AnnaBelle Cash and 25-year-old Joseph Cash.

James Kristoffer Cash is the youngest grandchild of Rene and Teresita Alvarez, and the late Johnny and June Carter Cash.
