Shook's "Nightroamer' coming in February

Friday, November 5, 2021 – Sarah Shook & The Disarmers will release their third album, "Nightroamer," on Feb. 18, 2022 on Thirty Tigers.

The North Carolina-based quintet plays honky-tonk-infused rock with a punk spirit. On "Nightroamer," the unit expands their sound with pop sensibilities. The new single is "Talkin' To Myself"

Shook and band released their last several albums on the Chicago-based Bloodshot Records label, which was recently sold after inner turmoil within ownership.

Led by Shook on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, The Disarmers are Eric Peterson (lead guitar), Aaron Oliva (bass), Jack Foster (drums) and Adam Kurtz (pedal steel).

Produced by Grammy-winner Pete Anderson (Dwight Yoakam, k.d. lang) "Nightroamer" is a collection of 10 songs written by Shook that take a close look at relationships.

Shook released "Sidelong" in 2017 on Bloodshot after self-releasing it in 2015, and "Years" in 2018.

Thirty years later, this is, to a certain extent, the similar territory staked out by Sarah Shook & the Disarmers on their debut, "Sidelong. ...
