Maddie & Tae postpone tour due to bed rest for Tae

Tuesday, December 28, 2021 – Maddie & Tae's upcoming tour was postponed because Taylor Dye was placed on bed rest as a result of her pregnancy.

"As excited as we are to get out on the road and see everyone, we are holding off on our return a little bit longer," the Twitter post said. "Tae and her baby are doing great, but the doctor has placed her on temporary bed rest. Out of precaution, we are postponing our upcoming tour dates, including the CMT Next Women of Country: All Song No Static Tour."

The tour was slated to start Jan. 6 in Oklahoma City, Okla. And end Feb. 12 in Atlanta. Callista Clark, who released an EP on Big Machine in February, and Canadian singer Sacha also were scheduled to be part of the tour.

Dye married songwriter and producer Josh Kerr in February 2022. Their first child is due this coming spring.

The duo's take on "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" ...
CD review - Start Here Maddie & Tae (aka Madison Marlow and Taylor Dye) start their biggest song "Girl in a Country Song" with a warning, "No country music was harmed in the making of this song." That warning also applies to the remaining 10 songs, which is about as country sounding as music seems to get these days for most artists. "Girl in a Country Song" is an answer song, of course, to the bro country going on all around them with faceless women being depicted as objects while ...
