The Chicks, Plant/Krauss, Strings play Bonnaroo

Wednesday, January 12, 2022 – The Chicks, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and Billy Strings are among the acts slated to play this year's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June.

The fest is slated to be held June 16-19 on the Bonnaroo Farm, located 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, Tenn.

Other roots acts playing the festival include Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Whiskey Myers, Sierra Ferrell and Canadian folk band Wild Rivers.

Bonnaroo has a history of having a variety of genres represented.

Tool, J. Cole, Stevie Nicks, Machine Gun Kelly, Flume, Illenium, Roddy Ricch, 21 Savage, $uicideboy$ and Porter Robinson also will play.

The appearance by Plant and Krauss follows the November release of "Raising the Roof," their first release together in 14 years.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 1 p.m. eastern.
