Block offers a "Welcome To The Block Party"

Friday, January 14, 2022 – Priscilla Block will drop her debut album, "Welcome To The Block Party,"o on Feb. 11 on Mercury Nashville.

The release follows last year's six-song self-titled EP, the highest-performing country female debut EP of 2021. Block offers a combination of country pop and Southern rock.

"Welcome To The Block Party" features 12 songs, all written by the North Carolina native, including "Just About Over You," the Top 15 hit and highest peaking debut single from a female country artist in 2021.

Block released her new song and lyric video, "My Bar," written by Block, Stone Aielli and Lexie Hayden, today.

"I cannot believe that my debut album is almost here. It has all the trash, all the sass, and all the sad. But hey, that's my life, and I'm so excited for the world to finally hear this. I wrote all of these songs from a real and raw place, and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to show various aspects of where I've been and who I am. Everyone knows that I love a good bar, so 'My Bar' felt a perfect place to kick off the new record."

The track list is:
1. Welcome To The Block Party (Priscilla Block, Mark Mulch)
2. My Bar (Priscilla Block, Stone Aielli, Lexie Hayden)

CD review - Welcome To The Block Party Whether she sings sad or happy, at her best, Priscilla Block may remind you of Miranda Lambert. Even when the production for "Welcome To The Block Party" gets a little too loud and busy, nothing can drown out Block's downhome country singing style. Same goes for Lambert. However, Block consistently comes through as a special talent on this important new album. Block's conversational singing style during "Peaked In High School" especially brings Lambert to mind. ...
