Aldean named to receive CRB Humanitarian Award

Wednesday, January 26, 2022 – Jason Aldean was named Country Radio Broadcasters 2022 Artist Humanitarian Award recipient.

CRS/CRB Board President Kurt Johnson said, "Jason Aldean doesn't have to brag about his songs or his concert tours. They speak for themselves. He also doesn't call attention to his massive philanthropic work. So we will. Join us at CRS as we shine a light on all the good that Jason does and the good people he supports."

Aldean has contributed to numerous organizations over the course of his career, including Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olsen Children's Hospital, Georgia's Children's Hospital, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, ACM Lifting Lives and Red Cross.

In his hometown of Macon, Ga., Aldean raised more than $2 million for Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olsen Children's Hospital, GA's Children's Hospital, the region's only dedicated pediatric facility.

Aldean is also an avid supporter toward the fight against breast cancer, putting the spotlight on Susan G. Komen chapters across the country. For over a decade he has supported the foundation, raising more than $4.1 million through ticket sales and events.

The CRB Artist Humanitarian Award was created in 1990 by the organization's board to honor those country music artists who have exhibited exceptional humanitarian efforts during their career. Past recipients include Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Lady A, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, Randy Owen, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks and Charlie Daniels.

Aldean will receive the honor during CRS Honors on Feb. 23.

In Adean's case, he said he has always leaned toward having more songs than less. Upon a sit down listen you get ...

CD review - 9 Hollywood may be pushing a broadminded agenda where there are more genders than one can even count, but in Jason Aldean's world, there are only two: tough guys, and the women that love them. There's no confusion it's a guy in the "Camouflage Hat," for example. Also, nothing is said or done without also washing it down with alcohol. The opener,"Tattoos and Tequila," breaks it down into tattoos to remember, and tequila to forget. Within its booze for every ...
CD review - Rearview Town If you liked Jason Aldean's three previous number one albums, you'll like "Rearview Town." He sticks to the winning formula that has brought him past success. The 15 tracks are mainly juiced up, muscular numbers with scorching guitar. Ironically, amid the torrid tempos and high volume that dominate the collection, the ballads are the standouts, especially with the duet with the Miranda Lambert on "Drowns The Whiskey." Instead of whiskey drowning a memory, the inverse ...
