Wade plays the Opry

Friday, March 25, 2022 – Morgan Wade, who is out with her "Wilder Days" single, makes her Grand Ole Opry debut on April 2.

"For me, it's hitting things at the root," Wade said. "For my songwriting, it's how real can we make it, how true can it be. With the Grand Ole Opry, whether you're talking Hank Williams or Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton or Elizabeth Cook, the people who walk out on that stage are plugging into so much more than just their own music. They're drawing on all the history that's made the Opry what it is."

The Virginia native just participated in the Country Music Association's C2C Festival in England, Scotland and Ireland. Wade spent last fall on the road with Americana/roots band Lucero and is gearing up for summer stadium dates with Luke Combs.

Wade released "Reckless' on her own last March and signed with Sony Nashville, which put out a deluxe version in January.
