Cam looks to The Otherside Tour
The 21-city run will tour in support of Cam's most recent album, "The Otherside," and make stops all across the U.S. and Canada. The tour will feature opening acts Amythyst Kiah and Jillian Jacqueline at select shows and some surprising guests along the way.
"This tour is deconstructing things to pure emotions," says Cam. "It's about taking things apart and examining the pieces in a really pure form. It's the most intentional show I've created in my career and a really high bar I've set for myself and the musicians. God, I miss those faces in front of me. I can't tell you how much I need this time with my kind of people. There's no place I'd rather be - singing, laughing, processing and marching on together."
Tickets go on sale starting Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

CD reviews for Cam
Let's hear it for the artists who try harder - there are more than enough country songs out there rhyming Bud Light with looking so right or jeans so tight. California Girl Camaron Ochs was raised on Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Randy Newman, to name a few. Ideally, she wants a song that takes you somewhere, like the 2015 uber-smash "Burning House." It lulls you in about a self-destructive love, but the surprise is that she stays and burns too.
Cam wasn't exactly a shrinking ...
Cam (Camaron Ochs) is another one of those artists only tangentially country. In the leadoff title track, you can hear banjo and twang in her voice (especially when she rhymes "wire" and "fire"), although the latter doesn't automatically stamp you with country bona fides. And this disc won't dispel the idea that Cam is more of an artist who has found her commercial marketplace in country, even if her songs more often tend to skirt country. After all, she did place ...
Following the legacy of other notable songwriters that have gone before her, Cam is stepping out from behind the shadows of the curtain where she's penned songs for artists like Miley Cyrus and Maggie Rose and is taking on the spotlight herself with her debut EP, "Welcome to Cam Country." And it's that fusion of pop sentiment, Southern California charm and real country sensibility that makes up the whole of the budding artist's sound.
"My Mistake" leads things ...
